Detailed description

Treatment of surfaces:

All horizontal surfaces, be it steps in the entry area, the pool bottom or even gravel beds, can be treated by spreading WM FreshUP evenly.

The sparingly soluble powder oxidizes deposits in the direct contact area.

Firmly adhering deposits loosen up a few hours after application and can be easily swept away or collected by a pond robot.

In open water, the oxidation effect is practically non-existent, so there is no influence on plankton organisms or filter biology. WM FreshUP can therefore (in contrast to hydrogen peroxide and similar, highly water-soluble peroxides) be used without problems during bathing and filter operation. However, direct skin contact should be avoided.

Direct treatment of vertical surfaces (walls) is not possible because the powder sinks and has no long-range effect. Indirectly, however, a reduction of deposits on the walls is possible, as the application of FreshUP binds excess phosphates and also optimizes the pH value.

Treatment of gravel areas:

Especially in older, natural facilities, gravel beds cause problems: Organic material sediments on the gravel areas and also in the interstices of the gravel bed.

WM FreshUP can be used to oxidize the organic material accumulated in the interstices of the gravel bed within a few hours and simultaneously bind the phosphate released in the process.

Treatment of gravel filters:

The formation of biofilm in the gravel filter is generally desirable, and a gravel filter works without problems as long as it is uniformly flowed through.

By applying WM FreshUP to eliminate the anaerobic nests from the biofilter, you reduce or prevent:

• filamentous algae formation
• nitrite formation, stunted growth and pest infestation of plants
• as well as breeding grounds for Pseudomonas aeruginosa

At the same time, by restoring uniform flow, you increase:

• filter performance
• and plant growth in the filter zone

Preparation of refill water in cisterns and heavy metal precipitation:

Water in cisterns or other containers can be treated with WM FreshUP for use as refill water.
