Which pool chemistry do I really need?
The basics are: a disinfectant (chlorine or an alternative), a pH regulator to keep values balanced, and an anti-algae agent. For special cases there are flocculants and cleaners. We'll gladly help you put together the right combination for your pool.
Why is the pH value so important?
The pH value decides whether your disinfectant works properly. If it's off, chlorine loses effect, water can turn cloudy and skin or eyes may get irritated. The ideal range is between 7.0 and 7.4 - a regular check takes only a minute.
How do I remove deposits and the waterline?
Limescale, grease films and dirt at the waterline are best tackled with a dedicated cleaner suited to your surface (foil, tiles, technology). Apply, let it work briefly, brush and rinse. Always wear gloves and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
