The Turbo PhosphatBinder was developed for the rapid reduction of extremely high nutrient concentrations. It reduces algae-promoting phosphates in pond water to a healthy level and effectively prevents algae infestation.

Its action is based on an ion exchanger that prevents phosphates from dissolving back into the water. Thanks to the ready-to-use net bag, application is particularly easy. The Turbo PhosphatBinder is free of toxic aluminum salts, pH-neutral and does not cloud the water – ideal even with sturgeon.

Detailed description

In small quantities, phosphate is an important nutrient for organisms. However, concentrations as low as 0.035 mg/l can cause strong algae growth. To prevent algal blooms, dissolved phosphates must be reliably bound.

The Turbo PhosphatBinder was specifically developed for the rapid reduction of very high nutrient loads. 1 kg binds up to 24 g of phosphate – particularly effectively and quickly. The ion exchanger used permanently prevents re-dissolution.

The product is free of aluminum salts, pH-neutral and does not negatively affect water turbidity or water values.

Expert tip

Place the ready-to-use net bag directly into the pond, stream, or filter. The Turbo PhosphatBinder can be used all year round. Depending on the phosphate load, the binding capacity is exhausted after 1 to 4 weeks and should then be renewed.
