Detailed description

The growth of algae and plants affects pond water. TeichFit® quickly creates ideal living conditions for all plants and pond inhabitants.

The proven basic care product optimises and stabilises the most important water parameters such as carbonate hardness (KH) and pH value within a few minutes. TeichFit® adds vital calcium to the water in the form of carbonate hardness and establishes a stable, species-appropriate pH range of 7.5 to 8.5.

Strong pH fluctuations, which cause stress for animals and plants, are avoided. In addition, TeichFit® enriches the water with carbon dioxide, neutralises toxic heavy metals and ammonia, which is harmful to fish.

The biological self-purification power of the pond is increased. TeichFit® also supports the growth and reproduction of algae-eating fish food organisms such as daphnia and rotifers. Optimal conditions are created for pollutant-degrading microorganisms in the pond and filter.

TeichFit® contains exclusively ingredients that naturally occur in water, and is therefore completely harmless to humans and animals.

Expert Tip

We recommend using TeichFit® one day before using algae removers (e.g., AlgoSol, AlgoSol forte, FadenalgenVernichter). All other products from the Söll pond care program can be used together with TeichFit® at any time.

If there is prolonged turbidity or browning after application, this is usually due to previously used humic substances or peat products. In most cases, this can be remedied by SauerstoffAktiv.

Application and dosage recommendation

From the start of the pond season as continuous care, at least 3 times a year, especially during algae blooms, carbonate hardness below 5 °dH or after heavy water ingress.

Spread evenly into the pond, do not dissolve beforehand. Filter systems can remain in operation during application.

Dosage: 100 g TeichFit® per 1,000 litres of pond water
