Detailed description
The growth of algae and plants affects pond water. PondFit creates ideal living conditions for all plants and pond inhabitants in a very short time . This proven basic care product optimizes and stabilizes the most important water parameters, such as carbonate hardness (KH) and pH value, within minutes. PondFit adds vital calcium to the water in the form of carbonate hardness . This adjusts the water to a stable, species-appropriate pH range between 7.5 and 8.5. Strong pH fluctuations, which cause stress for animals and plants, are thus avoided. PondFit also enriches the water with carbon dioxide , neutralizes toxic heavy metals, and neutralizes ammonia, which is harmful to fish. PondFit improves water quality and creates a stable, ecological balance in the pond. The pond's biological self-cleaning capacity is increased. PondFit also supports the growth and reproduction of algae-eating fish food organisms , such as Daphnia and Rotifers. Optimal conditions are created for pollutant-degrading microorganisms in the pond and filter. TeichFit contains only ingredients that are naturally present in water and is therefore completely harmless to humans and animals . Also good to know: TeichFit reduces corrosion of pumps and pipes.
Expert tip
We recommend applying TeichFit one day before using algaecides (e.g., AlgoSol, AlgoSol forte, Filamentous Algae Killer ). The other products in the Söll pond care range can be used with TeichFit at any time. If persistent cloudiness or brown discoloration of the water occurs after applying TeichFit, this is likely due to the prior use of peat, humic substances, or other pond treatment products. In most cases, the cloudiness or discoloration can be eliminated by using OxygenActivator .

Our application and dosage recommendation: Use as ongoing maintenance from the beginning of the pond season, at least 3 times a year . Especially important when algae blooms occur (green, cloudy water), when the carbonate hardness (KH) is below 5 °dH, or after significant water inflows (e.g., rain, snowmelt, etc.). Sprinkle evenly over the pond. Never dissolve or stir beforehand! Filter systems can remain in operation during application. 100g of PondFit per 1,000 liters of pond water. PondFit cannot be overdosed .
