Detailed description

Algae are an important component of a functioning garden pond. They produce oxygen and are part of the food chain. However, uncontrolled algae growth can lower carbonate hardness and cause strong pH fluctuations.

The anti-algae products from Söll are effective against all types of algae and restore growth to a healthy balance. Filamentous Algae Destroyer quickly and reliably eliminates even stubborn filamentous algae through the targeted release of active oxygen.

Expert tip

Application and dosage recommendation:
Sprinkle directly onto filamentous algae in the morning. Avoid contact with aquatic plants. Avoid strong water movements during application – turn off the filter or pump briefly if necessary.

Can be applied several times per season. Only use at pH value < 8.5 and carbonate hardness (KH) > 5 °dH.

Dosage: 30–50 g per 1,000 liters of pond water

After treatment, phosphate-reducing products such as Turbo PhosphatBinder, ZeoSpeed or PhosLock AlgenStopp are recommended.
