Sustained control of excessive algae growth in ponds is essential for maintaining a healthy biological balance. AlgoSol forte is highly concentrated and acts extremely quickly against algae. As a first-aid measure, AlgoSol forte has proven highly effective against persistent and massive algae blooms, especially in green water ( suspended algae ). The SpektroSorp light filter reduces the amount of light reaching the algae in the pond, thus impairing their ability to photosynthesize . The algae die off rapidly. Consequently, the carbonate hardness in the pond is no longer depleted as much, the pond's buffering capacity is maintained, and excessive pH fluctuations are prevented. AlgoSol forte is free of humic acids and will not affect the performance of your pond filter.

Our application and dosage recommendation: For optimal results, use in the morning. Dilute the dose with at least 20 times the amount of pond water (e.g., in a watering can) and distribute evenly throughout the pond. Avoid contact of the undiluted product with aquatic plants. When used correctly, no side effects on fish, plants, and amphibians are known. Fish can remain in the pond during treatment. 50 ml of AlgoSol forte per 1,000 liters of pond water. AlgoSol is recommended for blue-green algae infestations.

Special Notes: The effectiveness of AlgoSol forte against algae is reduced at pond water pH values above 8.6 . In this case, it is recommended to lower the pH value with PondFit or PondStarter before applying AlgoSol forte. Good to know: At the recommended dosage of 50 ml of AlgoSol forte per 1,000 liters, there are an average of 300 µg of copper sulfate in each liter of pond water. Use algaecides with care. Always read the label and product information before use.
