The sustainable suppression of mass algae growth in ponds is an important prerequisite for a biological balance in the water. AlgoSol® forte is particularly highly concentrated and works extra-fast against algae. As a "first-aid measure," AlgoSol forte has proven highly effective for stubborn and massive algae blooms, especially in green water (suspended algae). AlgoSol forte is free of humic acids and does not affect the performance of your garden pond filter.

Detailed description

The sustainable suppression of mass algae growth in the pond is an important prerequisite for a biological balance in the water. AlgoSol® forte works particularly fast against algae due to its high concentration. The integrated light filter SpektroSorp reduces the light absorption of the algae and inhibits their photosynthesis. The algae quickly die off.

This means that the carbonate hardness in the pond is consumed less, the buffer capacity is maintained, and excessive pH fluctuations are prevented. AlgoSol forte is free of humic acids and does not affect filter performance.

Expert Tip

Application and dosage recommendation:
For optimal results, apply in the morning. Dilute the dose with at least 20 times the amount of pond water (e.g., in a watering can) and distribute evenly in the pond. Avoid contact of the undiluted product with aquatic plants.

No side effects on fish, plants, and amphibians are known with proper application. Fish can remain in the pond during treatment.

Dosage:
50 ml AlgoSol forte per 1,000 liters of pond water
In case of blue-green algae infestation, AlgoSol is recommended.

Information

If the pond water pH is above 8.6, the effectiveness of AlgoSol forte is limited. In this case, it is recommended to lower the pH beforehand with TeichFit or TeichStarter.
