Transparent Sludge Vacuum / Sludge Bell for Gravel Surfaces

Large sludge vacuum for gravel zones with transparent housing and adjustable metal telescopic pole holder.

The sludge bell enables a pond sludge vacuum cleaner to directly suction gravel surfaces in swimming ponds and natural pools. Due to its funnel shape, the gravel is only slightly lifted, but not thrown up to the hose outlet. This allows gravel surfaces to be cleaned quickly and without fear of hose blockage.

Thanks to the transparent dome, it is possible to observe the entry of dirt and to move the sludge bell further when sediments and plant residues have been suctioned off. This visual inspection has the advantage of economical water consumption.

With its 38mm connection, the sludge vacuum fits perfectly onto standard swimming hoses. The connection is secured with a 1 1/2" union nut and can be replaced with a connection of a different diameter if required.

The aluminum holder for the telescopic pole can be fixed in its inclination with a knurled screw. While this only increases the friction resistance, it does not provide a firm fixation. The sludge bell can therefore be guided better than if it were loosely seated on an axle.

Note: This sludge bell is not suitable for use on pond liner surfaces. In case of heavier silting, there is a risk of getting stuck.
